What is the Cultural Appreciation Week? 

With nearly seventy different nationalities, Utrecht University is a rich and diverse institution. The enrichment each UU student and staff brings to the community deserves to be recognized and celebrated. The Cultural Appreciation Week was created with this idea in mind. 

The week will consist of student/staff-led activities aimed at exploring, appreciating, and showcasing each other's cultures. Importantly, in this project, the concept of Culture is intended broadly, meaning that Culture refers to the shared values and beliefs of human societies or social groups, which may include, but are not limited to national culture and religion.  

Practical information 

• You can apply for this function till the 7th of April 

• Job interviews will be held on the 9th/10th/11th of April.

Who are we looking for? 

- One Dutch-speaking student (with a good command of the English language) and one international student. 

- Affinity with student organizations 

- Interested in the topic of Cultural Appreciation 

- Experience with organizing events 

- Availability during the week itself: 25-11-‘24 t/m 29-11-‘24(subject to change)
