Want to apply for a Natural Sciences Master? The deadline for EU passport holders is 1 June. For non-EU passport holders the deadline is 1 April.

New precision record with weighing of molecules |
By modifying and boosting lab equipment, a team of chemists can measure individual molecules with unprecedented precision. This precision relates to being able to tell that one single sugar grain is missing from a full 1 kilogram bag of sugar. |

Are new cancer drugs from EU effective? |
Many new oncology drugs approved in the EU lack proof of added benefit. A research team from Utrecht University concludes this in the scientific journal The BMJ. By analyzing hundreds of cancer drug evaluations, the researchers gained new insights.
